About The Disney Life

“If you can dream it, you can do it.” – Walter Elias Disney11263981_10155507400795405_723706638525818506_n

After graduating with a BA in Journalism from Western Kentucky University in May, I returned to the Disney College Program as an attractions Cast Member at Disney Quest in Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney).

I extended my program into the spring, where I worked as a Rock N Roller Coaster attractions hostess. (“How about some backstage passes?”)

I’m also a DCP alum of Fall 2013 where I worked the “Stitch Complex” attractions (Stitch’s Great Escape, PeopleMover/Tomorrowland Transit Authority, and Astro Orbiter) in Tomorrowland in WDW’s Magic Kingdom theme park.

Ultimately, I want to work for Disney’s Public Relations department or serve as a copywriter for them and any one of their publications. For now, I’ll be blogging about my DCP experience and give insider tips and tricks for making the most out of your Disney vacation.

To all the dreamers out there, you will find a home with the Disney Company. It was one of the best semesters of my life and it’s exactly why I returned to Orlando for another year.

Feel free to comment on here as much as you’d like. I’m always open for suggestions and I’ll answer questions to the best of my ability. Be my guest to peruse the links and articles you find, as well as my Facebook page.

Follow me on Instagram to track my adventures.
